D-land

Last week we were able to go to Disneyland with the Gurr's. We had so much fun going with the entire family (except Blake who is on a mission). The crowd was perfect, weather was perfect (except for it raining one morning), churros were delicious, rides were a blast. Thank you Loran and Dee for a fabulous trip we will never forget!!! Here are some highlights and a video Bryce made.

Summer

I cant believe summer has already come and gone. It went to fast. But we definatley had a fun summer! We were able to go to California and Utah all in one shot.

California- We went with the Gurrs. And it was a blast! It was my first time going to Coronado and it definatley wont be the last. We went to the beach, grilled, played games, talked, and played mintue to win it. I cant wait for next year. It cant come soon enough!

Utah- With the Anderson's. We love going to Utah. Its our home away from home. My parents have a cabin in Sundance. My entire family was able to be up there together! We went the Gardner Village, ate out, played games, hiked, biked and hung with family and friends! Such a fun trip!

We were also able to see our good friends Kelsey and Jake! We went to J Dawgs (delish). They were also able to come up and play Ticket to Ride and get in the jacuzzi! We cant wait to see them again!

MAY

May was a very busy month. It went by way to fast. Brandon and I were able to go to Idaho to watch my sister Jill's kids. We had so much fun. It was a ton of work, but definatley worth it! Thank goodness for her 4 page schedule or we would of died. Even though I made fun of her for it. It helped a TON. Our week consisted of: going to park, zoo, walks, watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, naps, bubbles, cars, dancing. It was such a blast! I was so sad to leave. BUT, definatley glad to be home. We are still recovering.
(Sorry for the bad quality of pictures. They were all taken with our phones.)

A few days after we got home from Idaho it was my birthday! That morning Brandon made me breakfast. Then we went to a movie and dinner. Then did a little shopping. And to top it all off Sunday and Monday our families did a little party me! It was a great weekend. Thank you everyone for making it so much fun!

FALL

In honor of fall I thought I would make some crafts to spice up the home. They took many hours but I think it was all worth it.

My mom did this many years ago in an enrichment activity. I have always loved it so I thought I would copy it. Brandon being the good sport he is cut out the wood! And I did the rest.

I thought this wreath was simple but very cute!

Crafts

Lately I have been blog stalking craft blogs and i am now addicted to crafts! I am trying to come up with some cute ideas for my new house. So far these are just a few items. I still have to make 2 more pillows for our couch. Im not looking forward to that since this pillow was a pain in the butt making each flower then connecting them. Never again will I make this pillow. As I was looking through this blog tatertotsandjello I found these cute topiaries that looked pretty easy and fun! So this is my version of them! I thought they turned out pretty cute. To change the suject, our house is making a ton of progess. They painted and put cabinets and doors in. We are so excited and hope to be in it by May!!!!

Update

I am a horrible blogger. I really have no desire to blog right now! But I am forcing myself since this is my journal! It has a been a busy couple of months of traveling and building! At the end of January my sister Jill had her little baby boy. And I had the pleasure of going back to New York to help her with her two boys! It was hard work but it was definatley worth it! I had a blast! A couple weeks after that we went to Brandons family cabin for the weekend. Its so relaxing up there. Another week or so after that we went to Disneyland with my sister-in-law Heidi and her two little kids and that was so much fun! We were not ready to come home! Now its back to reality of work, school, and building our house! Which is coming along quite nicely!
